Your Admissions Process & Policies
1. Attend a Campus Tour
Parents must attend a scheduled campus tour to learn about our school’s values, expectations, and educational approach. During this tour, parents will receive an admissions packet with important materials.
2. Submit an Online Application
After reviewing the admissions materials and carefully considering this important decision, interested parents should complete the online application. The application requires academic records and other specified documents. A non-refundable application processing fee is due upon submission. Applications received by February 1 receive priority consideration.
3. Family Interview
Once a completed application is reviewed and deemed satisfactory, families will be invited for an interview with the Admissions Committee. This interview ensures that our school is a good fit for the student and family. Families will be notified of the next steps within 7–10 business days following the interview. Incomplete or unsatisfactory applications will not proceed to this step.
4. Entrance Testing and Evaluation
All new students must complete entrance testing to assess their math and language arts skills. This helps determine appropriate math course placement and allows teachers to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth. An $85 testing fee is required at the time of testing, payable to Anchor Christian Academy.
5. Acceptance & Enrollment
Families will receive an acceptance email with enrollment instructions within 7–10 days after testing. To secure a student’s spot, parents must submit the online enrollment form along with the registration fee.
6. Prepare for the Year
To help families understand our educational philosophy, we will loan each family a copy of Character Driven College Preparation: The Mission and Method of the University-Model® School by Dr. John W. Turner, Jr. (2017 edition). No purchase is necessary.
Students currently in grade 6 will be invited for a 7th grade preview afternoon to meet future classmates and teachers. Students in grades 7-11 may shadow Anchor students for classes after parents have completed a Campus Tour.
